Hankow is nearly 600 miles from the coast up the River Yangtzee and 500 miles north of Hong Kong. Although the post office of Hankow is previously believed to have closed on 22 November 1922 a couple of covers exist dated 27 November 1922. While Webb suggested that these may have been cancelled to order as a farewell present, neither the adressee nor the appearance of the registered cover seem to suggest this. The other cover, for which there is only a partial black and white image, is stated as philatelic in nature from the auction catalog description and has not been examined. Consequently, I believe that, like the other Agencies, Hankow actually closed on October 30 1922.
Hankow's main business during the Treaty Port period was the black tea export trade. This may explain the larger number of 30c useages from Hankow versus the other ports as it may have been associated with the sending of samples of tea by Parcel Post.

Notes:
Mr. Frank Drake and Mr. David Drake published a study of cancels and frequency in Journal #18 of the Hong Kong Philatelic Society Journal. A total of 175 items were examined and the data summarized below. They believe that it is possible that the MSCA issues were not sent to the Hankow Post Office and that the few examples that exist may have been brought in and used at the port.
